It hurt for me the first couple times but eventually it stopped hurting. If it’s been months and you’ve done it a lot in between i would say it’s not normal
I would seek medical advice. I am 4months pp had episiotomy and burst a vein and it was uncountable the first time but not anymore x
it hurt me too and i needed pelvic floor therapy now im fine at 5 months pp
I had this happen to me, but i had a csection. I was told your body has not adjusted the hormones yet so you need additional lubricant. I would reach out to the doc for a check though. But that’s what my doctor told me.
I'm going through the same. I had a worse tear with my son but by 3.5 months pp we were back to normal, no pain etc. I'm almost 6 months pp with my second and sex is still painful. I'm going to contact my gp this week, as I know this isn't right but in all honesty, I feel a bit embarrassed to talk about it. But I know I need to, as it's also not fair on my husband
It was painful for me the first few times, but not anymore. I would ask a dr if it still hurts that much months later. I know since I am breastfeeding, it's naturally drier down there, so that was another thing that helped.
It definitely can be painful depending on your delivery. With my first, sex felt normal after 6 months, with my second it was only 6 weeks
I would get to the doctor. I had something similar with first and healed completely by six weeks and it didn’t hurt.
