Yeah my daughters pre school were really good x
My daughter's were really good they asked to use to send her in pull ups but we found that was confusing her, so we sent her in knickers and plenty of spare clothes, they would take her every 30mins at the beginning until she got the hang of it
I’m a nursery nurse and would say expect some accidents as the nursery environment is very different to home when it comes to toilet training in terms of distractions and things, but once you’re ready to start the nursery should be very supportive and take children to the bathroom often to avoid accidents where possible.
I'd say the nursery setting is actually ideal for potty training. There's a constant schedule/routine, and it incorporates frequent potty breaks. Also, the children see their friends going, so it inspires them to do the same (monkey see, monkey do).
My son’s nursery is really good. We bough his own potty for nursery, so he can used that instead the toilets as he doesn’t like it. Lots of spear clothes and slippers as they are easy to wipe with accidents in case. They remind him to go potty every 30mins, and use sticker chart too. they encourage him a lot.
