Behaviour

Due my second child in two days and I’ve really noticed a change in my 3.5 year olds behaviour, I think this may be due to him sensing baby is coming soon. He’s been using language we don’t ever use at home so must have picked this up from nursery, it’s upsetting and bedtimes are becoming emotional for us both, any advice 😩

no advice but came here to say i’m pregnant with number 2 due end of April, my son had been absolutely fine and was super excited, always talks to the bump and says hi baby and strokes my belly but the last two days i haven’t noticed a change in his behaviour, he has started crying like a baby, i mean that in the nicest way like the smallest thing will inconvenience him or he isn’t happy with something and he cries like a baby, he’s not cried like a baby in a looong time, sure he’s had tantrums and he does cry but not like what i’ve seen the last two days, and i’m starting to wonder if it’s the new baby that’s causing this change subconsciously?? like he’s been completely fine but now i don’t know what this is!! Xxx

Yes we have the same! My little boy is so emotional over the smallest of things, he’s usually so happy but he’s been getting himself worked up lately, bedtime used to be a breeze but now it’s a struggle ☹️hoping it’s a phase that passes quickly

I had my second nearly a year ago end of March and came to say my daughter went through that around 7.5months pregnant onwards. It was all about me, it soon passed after baby was born. We tried to keep her routine the same and she was besotted with her new sister. Hang in there mummas xx

My son is 3.5 too and ive just had our second baby, i noticed changed in behaviour but trust me it is just a phase and it will go back to normal 😊 just keep doing what you are doing and just try push through x
