Advice for incision pain

So does any other mamas that had a c-section still deal with pain from the incision during postpartum? (side note: I didn’t schedule a c-section I opt to have one when I was in L&D and not progressing after my water broke at home also didn’t do any research on c-sections I didn’t want to stress/having anxiety over something that might not happen 🙃) I’m almost three months postpartum and every now and again I feel pain flare up where my incision is. I haven’t told my doc about it cause every time I ask a question or for advice from his office I’m talked down to cause I’m a “first time mom”… I’m also dealing with a bunch of PPD and rage. Not much I can do about it since most medications make me violently ill…

As a c-section mum I have the same issue. I’ve noticed I get pain more when I’ve work myself too hard. I deep cleaned my entire house the other day and the day after I felt inflamed and pain around my incision. I also suffer with PPD and I found that going for walks helped me. Getting out the house once a week or so helps me clear my mind and it also helps get my little one to sleep x

I have issues wearing my favorite certain jeans cause of the scar tissue along my incision scar. After I'm done doing whatever I dressed up for I straight jump into stretchy comfy pants. I now wear jeans just to leave the house My muscles on the right side will Charlie horse if I cough to hard. I have to stand up and stretch my torso to relieve the pain. I'll be 3 yrs pp in April. The muscle thing is more of an annoyance than pain atp.

I have the same thing happen at 6 months postpartum. It’s super random but I notice it more when I’m really active or lifting anything heavy. Just remember how major of a surgery a cs really is. It takes our bodies a lot longer than we think for it to fully heal. I also have postpartum depression and anxiety so you’re not alone there. We can do this mama🫶🏼
