@Chloé Collier Thanks for the reply, I think we might end up just using condoms too, especially since sex isn't anywhere near as regular as it used to be thanks to our new addition!
I'm using birth control pills
I’ve got the implant in my arm. I had it a few years ago. It works well for me. Husbands having the snip when that’s done
I got an implant, but I don't want anymore babies so not worried about hormones taking a while to settle. Had the copper coil between babies as I think that is the only non-hormonal long term contraception, but when I had it taken out after like 2 years the guy said it was about to fall out anyway 😬 though I never checked the strings it was too difficult due to position of cervix.
Hi 😊 I stopped using hormones 10 years ago. Last time I used the implant in my arm for three years and then stoped taking anything just used condoms. Got now my second baby and decided to put the IUD or coil. You have two types the one with hormones and the copper one. I am using the hormonal and it last you 8 years, you can remove it anytime. Have an appointment with your gp nurse for more information 😉
I just follow fertility awareness. I'm really not a fan of hormonal birth control. I did have the copper coil for about 7 years and hated that too in the end. Husband will be getting the snip though as we have 2 children now and feel done x
The baby 🤣🤣🤣
@Kyraleigh 🤣🤣😅 yup!!
Sorry to jump on the bandwagon, for those of you using the implant in your arm, how safe are you finding it? Like a few of you I’m finished having babies now, I have 2 and wondering if the implant would be more reliable than remembering to take a pill every day😫
@Amy I had the implant before like 10 years ago and it was fine, I just didn't get periods with it at all. I've only had this one about a month and haven't had a period since giving birth yet.
Copper coil. Had it before we started trying for our baby and getting it back again. Not all stories of it are bad else it wouldn’t be a thing. Never had any issues at all with it and worked perfectly for me. Wouldn’t even know it was there and the no hormones part is a big selling point for me. I’d use condoms if you aren’t sold on any contraception, although personally not a fan 😂 x
mirena coil used it for 10 years before having a baby. It was great not having a period for all that time and I feel it levels me out personally.
I just used condoms after my first baby as my body was so much better without contraception. This is our second baby now and my hubby has had the snip 🙌🏻
