Cycle length

Is it normal to have crazy long cycles? My last one was 36 days. I’ve never had consistent cycles, but I know they are pretty much always long like that. Can someone explain why they would be so long!?

There are a multitude of reasons for your cycle being longer such as endometriosis, PCOS, stress, birth control, etc. I had longer cycles, close to 40 days, when I had my IUD and after removal while TTC which the app Flo kept saying was abnormal. I am 3 weeks PP, breastfeeding, and getting another IUD placed at my 6 week PP exam so who knows what my cycle length will be moving forward. I'd recommend talking with your doctor about it, especially if you are TTC and having difficulty conceiving.

It could signify something going on, but it could just be how your body works. My cycles range from 32-38 days. I have no underlying issues and have zero problems getting pregnant. I’m on my third pregnancy (second ended in loss) and we got pregnant the month we started trying every time. All bodies are different, everyone has a different cycle length.

As long as they are regular 36 days can be a normal cycle. Anywhere from 29 to 38 days can be normal. That's what my GP said.
