a handful of my mommy friends & i had struggled with intensely nausea & morning sickness throughout our pregnancies, we were all prescribed Diclectin :) from what i’ve read about it & what my dr had told me it’s one of the safer ones to take during pregnancy that are still quite effective :)
Tbh I took it on my first pregnancy but I was given it in my second trimester as no other meds worked and everything was fine and on my last pregnancy from very early I’m not sure if this was related but my baby ended up having anencephaly and misscarried at 15 weeks. I’ve had HG with all my pregnancies and I was terrified to get pregnant again but I did I again 3 months later and swore not to take any medications. I did suffer a lot but in the back of my head I was blaming the medication I took for what happened before that. I was told that it’s not safe to take zofran before the baby’s main organs are developed as it can also cause heart problems but not 1000% sure.
@Sabrina u had hg for all 3? Now I don’t want anymore
@Jody yeah unfortunately 😭. I will definitely not be having more because I thought I was gonna die this time around lol 😂
@Sabrina damn my husband trying to convince me it won’t happen again so we should have more and I’m like yeah no
@Jody tbh I’m not even sure it its normal for it to happen every single time or in just unlucky but I can tell u that having HG whilst having to look after a toddler is HELL 😂
@Sabrina my mom had it with both me and my sister so I think it’s normal in some cases
That was the only thing that helped me. I got it with multiple pregnancies
What about diclegis? I used that my whole pregnancy, it’s safe
I took it only when I really needed to… but that was often lol
I took Zofran everyday until the third trimester because I was throwing up so bad I kept losing weight. I have chronic nausea so pregnancy just made things 3 times worse. I needed to use baking soda to brush my teeth just so you understand the level of nausea lol My entire pregnancy was healthy, I had a super easy labor, baby was healthy and he is now 19 months and thriving 🤷🏻♀️
I used zofran my entire pregnancy because it was the only thing that helped to keep my food down. My baby is now 5 months old and thriving 😭 she’s hitting milestones way before she should. Her new goal now is to crawl and she’s been working on it since she was 3 months old and 2 days ago she figured how to get in her knee to crawl. So I can’t say it’s unsafe because of how my baby is. I did have some doubts when I was taking them though
