I have both. My 2 year old uses the floor seat while the 3 year old will use the potty seat on toilet, although he’s gotten to where he just stands up to pee now and only use the potty seat when he goes number 2 now.

Maybe just buy both and see what your kid prefers.

Both

Both

Both toilet seat and potty which is handy if you have two floors and going somewhere and they havnt learnt to perch

I have very tiny bathrooms and the floor potty doesn’t fit so when we were working with my now 5yo he never used it. Put it in the tv room but I found it more effective to take him to the bathroom consistently. I got the seat this time but my 16mo is too small for it. We’re just working on curiosity and understanding right now though.

With my son used a potty chair on the ground and eventually worked up to the adult potty. With my daughter we went straight to an adult toilet. She was much easier to train than my son.

Both.

All of the above!

Seat on the toilet primarily, but we did have a my carry potty for out and about if need be. He quickly graduated to just hopping up on the adult seat himself though.

We did a mix of introducing a normal toilet seat, a whole toddler seat with steps up ontop of the toilet and then we settled on having a built in child sized seat on our actual toilet (like this one https://a.co/d/fN3WWT6)

I’ve used all 3 tbh when I was potty training her

Both

Potty chair on ground. Also one on seat but it isn’t used much.
