I have just found out im 8 weeks with twins and I've got a 2.5 year old! I think it's normal to be bricking it because I am! X
How fair along are you? I found out I’m having twins at 5w 5d by scan as there was 2 clear sacs each with a tiny blob in it. Have they booked you back in for a rescan?
I’m 6w 4 days, we saw one pregnancy and one beating heart. I had to ask since I’ve heard stories of twin pregnancies going undetected in early scans. They haven’t booked a rescan but I’m being scanned at 8 weeks due to my complicated history with pregnancy and loss.
Honestly, I didn’t even think to ask too much because I was in shock throughout the rest of the appointment after hearing twins
I had a scan at 6 weeks 4 days too and we had one beating heart but there was also a second gestational sac so twins was queried too. I got called back a week later, and the second sac was still there but it was still empty. I was told it would just be reabsorbed by my body. I think if they didn’t see anything other than one heartbeat at that point, I would assume its just the one
This seems a bit odd to me. Did they identify a viable pregnancy on the scan? If you are over 6 weeks it should be pretty clear if there are twins.
