Toilet issues..👀💩

Is anyone else having issues with the toilet? 💩 I don’t remember having this issue with my daughter! Any recommendations to help me go and it not be painful!? ☹️ I’ve got a foot stool for elevation of my legs but it doesn’t help a great deal 😣 I’m 17+1 for reference Thank you ❤️

I’m the same , had it with my first but never this bad 🙃 drinking lots of water and you can use laxatives to help , I think I’m going to try cos pregnancy constipation is no joke

@Sophie honestly the struggle is real 😂 I do need to drink more water I’m terrible for not drinking much of it c

18 weeks all I do is drink and I can’t goooo 😭😂🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Have you tried taking probiotics? I had to take them when I was taking antibiotics and I definitely noticed the difference. Reading online it says they help with constipation in general. Optibac do ones specifically for pregnancy. They are fairly expensive so I wonder if docs might be able to prescribe?! Worth a shot x

@Hollie I’ll have a look into that thank you!! X

@Charlie I can sort of go but it hurts because of piles and I have to stop and then I end up needing to go not long after again and same thing happens 😭😭 vicious circle 🤦🏻‍♀️ why is pregnancy SO glamorous 😂😂😂

I have to take lactulose, it’s a little bit everyday and keeps things moving. It’s a lot better for me now, you can get in at the chemist :) xx

Making myself a fruit & fiber smoothie with plenty of chia seeds every morning has helped me the most.

Girl I feel you 😂contact the doctors they can prescribe you something so it softens x

I struggled big time being pregnant. I ate as much fiber as I could and upped my water intake. I have a squatty potty too that helped a little I drank a cup of apple-white grape juice daily too

Are you eating enough fibre? I was having issues but started adding flaxseed and apricots to my morning museli and it’s a lot better now. I really notice the difference if I have a different breakfast! X

I was constipated for weeks then got put on aspirin and it's the other way round now😭😭 honestly this pregnancy is kicking my ass compared to my first😂

I drink 2-3 litres of water a day. That doesn't help at all! The struggle is real. When I do eventually need to go I dread it! It's so painful and I get really lightheaded 🙈 it's improved a little and the only thing I've changed is I've been eating hummus on toast lol hummus is supposed to be high in fibre

I’m same as you 17+1! Last few days had awful time and been suffering. 😭 only first thing when I get up though and then I’m okay all day!

I eat oranges and tangerines daily at the moment at least a few, full of vitamin C and fibre which helps go and do the business. A pint of proper real fresh OJ a day should help, too. Good with chillies helps, too! Depending on tolerance 😂
