Car Seat Upgrade
My LO (5months) is inconsolable in his car seat, he reaches his peak crying on short 10 minute car journeys where he is gargling and struggling to breath due to how hard he's crying. We've tried a mirror so he can see us, a picture of me against the seat, toys, songs but nothing seems to help. He also cries uncontrollably if I'm sat in the back seat with him so I'm starting to think he might be uncomfortable in his infant car seat, I'm thinking of upgrading to his next one early. Does anyone have any recommendations or done anything to help their LO if in a similar situation?

My little girl was the same, switched her to a proper car seat and she loves it. Just fyi, we bought a Joie 360 and thought it was rubbish, it also isn’t great for higher centile babies. We went with an axkid minikid in the end as it will last her rear facing until at least 6yo
Mine is the same, I resorted to switching airbags off and having him next to me in the front and he’s absolutely fine. Think it’s just when they feel alone in the back x

We have the Joie i-spin 360 for our LG, as both my first and her cried in the original infant car seat. Since putting her in it at 12 weeks she hasn’t cried x

Recommend the joie 360 / joie i-spin 360 My girls are still in infant car seats but in my husbands car we have the joie 360 and they always seem happier/look so much comfier in them when we go in his car x
