Teething tantrums ???

Evening My gentle smiley baby is now ratty, wingy, irritable etc etc …. Query due to teething??? Is anyone else having this? I’ve - changed her - distracted her - bathed her - she’s napped well - she’s eaten well Yet we still have a moaning baby currently. Anyone else? How long does “teething” actually last? We have had drool / fever / red cheeks / rubbing else ….

Yes and yes to all the above, she's also got a cold on top of teething which is making it worse... I've just given in to a danger nap at this time because I've had enough. Normally she's such a happy content and easy baby 👶 💕 sending you hugs and strength to get through mama

Same with us too! I was told 10months is when tantrums begin to start :( they start learning what words mean like the word no and get upset when it's used. It can take 1-7days for a tooth to break through, and babies usually have a full set of baby teeth by age 3, and interestingly; they tend to lose them the same order they come x

So hard So so hard

You can do it mama! We use fruit ice lollies, and also calpol and nurofen together when it gets bad. We also have a hard trainer toothbrush by MAM that she loves being pressed on her gums. Also anbesol liquid is really good. I use the liquid and seal it in with bonjela. You got this !! x

@Georgina thank you I’ve not seen this liquid I’ll keep a lookout 🧡

I got it from behind the counter at the pharmacy. It's quite strong and don't think you can use it regularly but I would recommend it x

@Georgina that makes sense! Thank you
