It’s the thing I hate the most about being a Mum. We’ll be eating lunch and I’m already worrying about what to make for dinner. Seriously considering selling my body so I can hire a chef (I’m joking obviously 🤣)
I’m glad I’m not the only one 🥲🥲🥲
i feel this at least once a week lol. my bf used to be the only cook and cook for me all the time but now he rarely does, and never plans meals. it’s rough 😭
He learnt. I met him not being able to do much- his single mama did everything for him. Over the years I slowly taught him and now he can do everything, including cook which initially he didn’t know how
He needs to learn how. My husband has some go-to meals he can cook. He can make lunches, he can make breakfast and some dinners. You both can experiment with new foods to help you enjoy cooking, cook together when possible to make it more enjoyable. I also enjoy “double cooking” I make double the amount and then save and freeze the other half for a future meal I don’t have to cook.
I find it strange when people say they can’t cook because you can google how to do anything, making a simple pasta bake and omelette isn’t rocket science especially if you have a recipe and guide! If your cooking and making all meals you need to include day off meals if he won’t cook, healthy ready meal in the oven and go ! Xx
Friend!!!!! Let me tell you what changed my life. I started doing freezer meals Premade meals that I premade and put in the freezer. I spend 2-3 days cooking and preparing and I have food for months. It’s the best. I put it in the oven or the croc pot and boom no more slaving. I highly recommend
@Lindy ahhh I really need to do this! I just got a instant cooker and I need to do some batch cooking lol 😂
I would try teach him to cook make it romantic 🥰 like as a date night in you make a meal together. Chose something like spaghetti thoses skills are transferable to a lot of dishes xx
