Mine is 3 weeks today, we have been doing 80ml, yesterday we offered a bit more, 90 - 100 and she drank it. But we are doing bottles only in the evening when my partner has her for a bit. Otherwise, I am BF.
That’s the right amount for little ones age :) My little boy is 4 weeks tomorrow and has just started to drink 120 ml so I will be upping to 150 ml soon so I know he’s not still hungry :) he’s only 7lbs 7oz so only a small baby x
I asked the midwife at our 10 day appointment, and she said 120 - 150ml but that sometimes baby will only have 90ml. I’m only able to pump 80ml..so it wasn’t the news I wanted to hear! But hopefully it’s good news for you that you’re not overfeeding her 💕
My 3-week old boy is on 130ml, sometimes he smashes the whole thing and other times he’ll just have 70ml. We had the same worry re. over feeding but the health visitor told us that babies will instinctively stop feeding when they’ve had enough and that’s been our experience so far!
We were asked to offer 70ml every three hours when she was 4 days old as my milk didn’t come through (yup 4 days you read it right). By week 3 we started offering 120 ml coz she was still hungry after finishing 90 ml.
