Crawling

Hey, yup my LO is 8 months and apart from rolling all over the floor she is nowhere near to crawling, she somehow moves around the floor by pivoting on her tummy and rolling around 😅😂

@Sindi so glad it’s not just us!! I worry about her milestones being a first time mum but I think she’s just lazy 😂

Mines not crawling, she’s more interested in walking, she hates being on her front for too long, she’s showing signs but nothing yet

Up til last week or 2 mine was same, hates tummy time. However needs to be on the move so she walks with us and i always have her over my shoulder for tummy time or lying on me. But her walking has now got her so close to crawling. She screams/cries when she is left to crawl rather than walk but when she does move shes happy. My 1st didnt really crawl tbh, he went straight to walking then crawled after lol dont worry shes got her own plan shes following 😊 x

Same here! My boy has silent reflux and will not be put on his tummy at all, he also has very tight upper body which we're working on with an osteopath. However, he's very much interested in standing and jumping. Crawling isn't a "mandatory" milestone, it doesn't happen for some babies and it's okay :)

I don’t have a June 2024 baby but this popped up on my for you page and I wanted to give some reassurance! My daughter didn’t crawl until 13 months! For no reason other than pure laziness and stubbornness as far as I could tell, she just rolled everywhere 😂 and then she didn’t walk until 18 months… she’s 2.5 now and I can’t get her to stop running 🫠

My baby is just over 8 months and crawling is not on his radar 🤣

@Abbie me also! I’m constantly looking into milestones etc but I think we just need to remember they will do it in their own time! X

Mine is 8 months on the 19th and he’s no where near crawling either, he’s starting to sort of bend his legs a certain way to reach for things but that’s it!! I was feeling a bit meh because my 1st boy started crawling at 8 months! But this post has made me feel better !

Try not to worry they’re all doing stuff in their own time! My boy started crawling (techniques not totally down, in his own style most of time haha) at about 7 months but all the other babies in our NCT are nowhere close and some not rolling yet, but our sons one of the last to get his teeth through. It’ll all come in their own time ☺️
