WHAT TO DO ABOUT SHOWERING?

So my baby is now 7 months old!! He is currently able to sit up, not fully on his own but can sit up in a high chair etc. I have a blow up seat (from tiktok) that he just doesn't enjoy sitting in it and moves about so much that he's almost jumping out of it. I have another sit me up from mamas and papas that he manages to tear off the top bit and wriggle his way around.. he's now trying to sit up in his bouncer so Im thinking I need to put that away! Soo.. where do I put him when I'm in the shower? I used to put him in his bouncer in my bedroom and he would watch some dancing fruit or even Ms Rachel. I could see him from my shower upstairs but if I shower downstairs I can't have eyes on him if he's in his jumperoo. I literally have no idea what to do anymore! He doesn't like lying in his cot because I think he thinks I'm going to put him to his bed when it's not bed time or nap time 😂 I am a shower in the morning girl, my hair doesn't do washing at night because it goes crazy and greasy or unfixable and naturally I want to be a presentable mum 😂 Any ideas?

I bring the play mat in and have them lay and play on there while I shower

Could you put him on the bathroom floor? My little boy is army crawling so I just lay out some toys and he plays with them while I shower. Or put a mat down? X

I also just put up a really similar post! A few said about seats with toys that they are strapped into but worried he could tip them over x

I just lie my girl down on her changing mat when I shower

I have been using a portable rocking seat and put some toys on it for him

We have a heavy duty chair, a Nuna Leaf (because he’s 91st percentile and was too heavy for all the other ones 😂) and that does up to 60kg so he goes in that!

Door bouncer?

My little one is absolutely loving sitting in my wash basket at the moment. I’ve put a throw in it to pad out the sides but he has room to sit and have a choice of toys and I’m not worried that he can fall back 😊 and it’s cost absolutely nothing 🤣🤣 xx

I shower when my boys napping

I try to time my shower around his morning naps where possible but if that doesn’t work with our schedule he plays on the floor in the bedroom while I shower with the door open in the en-suite so I can see him

I try to shower in his first nap or before he wakes at 6:30 ish 🥱 depending on what I’m doing for the day.

Thanks for the suggestions, if I put a play mat down, he rolls onto his front but hasn't mastered rolling back again and gets frustrated very quickly xx

I put high chair in the bathroom with toys and he’s strapped in. Suction toys are good so they don’t fall on the floor
