Eating veg!

My little girl is almost 11 months and now won’t eat any healthy food at all 🙈 I swear it’s bcos I’ve given her snacks that are sweet (like the kiddilicious strawberry wafers, Heinz biscotti etc) and now she’s had a taste of that she’s not interested in any other healthy food! Would you suggest ban those snacks for now or is that too harsh 🙈

My little one is the same, but she just wants cheese or fruit haha she could have a full plate of different foods that she used to devour and now picks through to get cheese or just eats the fruit, I’m going to try make some more pancakes and muffins with hidden veggies as she tends to eat those

😂 they’re not stupid are they! Yeh I’m gonna try hiding veg too 😊 thank you!

There really not haha it amazes me how smart they can be, and no problem!!

Mines the same. He used to eat so well but is now going through a phase of only eating 'bready' foods and fruit. I've resigned myself to hiding veg for now. I made some mini sweet potato pizza bases, veg muffins, grated carrot and apple sausage rolls. Some days he'll eat them others he won't but I try to pick recipes that at least I'll snack on even if he doesn't 😂 saves it being a complete waste of my time lol

My LG will eat almost anything pureed but not fruit or veg as finger food despite being quite good at it previously. No idea why! I'm hoping it's a phase 😅 still offering bits and pieces to stimulate her interest but when she inevitably doesn't eat them I'm mushing them up and hiding in whatever main meal she's having! I wouldn't ban completely but maybe give less of the sweet snacks and offer other things alongside. Or maybe more savoury flavoured snacks like melty sticks or baby veg crisps to stimulate the taste buds.

thank you!! Glad we’re not alone 😆

Urh I started being a bit more lenient with sweet stuff for my daughter, giving her the odd tiny taste of cake or letting my mam give her sweet yoghurts when we visit every few days and i swear it's made her start being a little bit fussy. She only eats veggies if they're chopped up and mixed in with the rest of the meal e.g. sausage casserole
