@Sarah with the second one she starts munching and sucking at her hand like she does the first time she’s hungry. I always try get her to sleep sooner so she’s not overtired but she just refuses to the point she gets very tired. X
Well I guess you offer it and if she doesn't want it, assume it's tiredness and sometimes it can take a little while for them to feel tired enough to fall asleep. Sometimes a little cry makes them realise how tired they are ❤️ from what I've read with feeding from both breasts etc is that you give time between them to allow them to "rest and digest" so like a nappy change or them up on your shoulder to elongate their body to allow the milk to move out the stomach etc. Sorry if you know all this 🙈
My son will do this, if he is tired he will scream at me when I try to feed him, and get more upset than he was originally. My daughter was the same, zero interest in food, no matter how long it had been, if they are tired. They both always went to sleep and fed when they woke up x
I breastfeed my 17 week old but recently had a similar thing happen. I would offer the boob when I "thought" she was due a feed (going from how frequent she would feed before this) or just grizzly and nothing would make her happy and she would cry and cry and cry. She always took the boob up until this point because she's such a good feeder so I found it really distressing. Turns out she was just tired! Sounds similar to your baby especially if she takes the bottle when she wakes. When you say she's "ready for another one" is that her qiving you signs she is hungry or just that a certain amount of time has passed? Their appetites change so I wouldn't worry and as you said as long as her weight/nappies are good then see how it goes and maybe offer a nap sooner? Hope it settles down for you soon because it's awful hearing them scream x
