Travel stroller vs regular pram

Due to go on holiday next month and weighing up getting a travel stroller that we can take onto the plane vs putting our actual pram in the hold. Been looking at the silver cross clic if anyone else has this? Bonus of having our actual pram is I know our son sleeps really well in it for naps, and if I buy a bag/cover for it, I can whack loads of other stuff in it at the gate to go into the hold. My worry is the expensive pram getting damaged in the hold. Has anyone just taken their regular pram on a flight? On the other hand, worried baby won't sleep well in a smaller, travel style stroller? Any advice helpful please!

We have a mamas and papas Libro as our travel stroller, we’ve already used it and baby sleeps just as well in it as in the normal pram- it lies pretty much completely flat for him to sleep in, which is the same as our normal pushchair! I’ve also got a snoozeshade and it fits both my normal pram and the travel pram. I’ve heard good things about the silver cross clic though!

We took our uppababy pram to spain as our baby was still in the bassinet at the time. Uppababy sell a travel bag so as long as we registered & used that bag our pram was guaranteed & they would replace it if it became damaged on the plane. No idea if other companies do anything similar though. We fit SO much other stuff in the bag too 🙈

I’ve been looking at the Joie Pact Pro. The reviews look good. It’s £150 at the moment which is affordable for me. Keen to hear any other suggestions!
