I have a 2 year old and 10 month old twins and we can't fit 3 across in the back without buying a bigger car, we don't often drive with all 3 in the car anyway but if we do need to then we have to put 1 in the passenger seat with the airbag turned off and the other 2 in the back
VW Sharan is big but you can fold seats down etc
@Alice how do you find the 7 seater car? We are thinking as well about this . There is space in the back when someone wants to sit in the back back? Thanksss
We had to get a new car🙈 we got a Citroen c4 grand spacetourer and 3 car seats fit beautifully in The middle row with plenty of space for the twin pram and all the stuff that goes with them in the boot (with the back row if seats down. There’s basically no boot with them up)
@Adriana I’ve never used the back 2 seats but you can pull the middle row forward, I think it would be pretty uncomfortable for an adult but fine for a child/small adult. With the back 2 seats up you can’t fit a pram in the boot though
We can fit 3 in back of Audi Q5
If you want 3 in the back you need a car with 3 full seats. We had to buy a Peugeot 5008 which will pretty much fit any 3 seats across. I’ve got my toddler on one side then the twins in the middle and other side in infant carriers. It’s a 7 seater but I need all the boot space for the double pram
