The gruffalo always seems to be a hit!
I've been reading the Julia Donaldson books as they seem to amuse her, but was looking to see if anyone had any other suggestions.
Don't know what age you are looking for, but we read Julia Donaldson, Rachel Bright, and books like The Leaf Thief, Littlest Yak, Brave Penguin, the OI Frog range. She's 7 months but started at 3 months every nap and bedtime. She likes funny voices too!

It’s tone of voice sometimes not the words specifically- when my littles were super young I read them lord of the rings and pride and prejudice 😂❤️
