Induction

Please help a girl out that can’t be induced (breech baby) and doesn’t want a c-section. I have 2 weeks maximum to either get little girl to turn around (been trying for weeks with no luck) or start labour myself. Any tips or tricks that could help either of the above?? ECV is not medically an option.

Go to the chiropractor - preferably one that focuses on maternal health!! They have methods to use to make room and encourage the baby to flip AND they help prepare your body for labor 👍🏼👍🏼

Miles circuit or spinning babies. Outside of that, even if you bring on labor, are you trying to have a vaginal birth? Cause if they’re offering a C-section now then that’s what they typically do when if go into labor, they’ll wheel you into C-section. Have you asked your Dr or midwife about their experience with vaginal breech births? Or referring you to a medical professional experienced with them?

Be patient. My doctor told me it's really common for them to keep flipping around. Your baby will most likely get into proper position by the time you have your induction

Spinning babies!!! Also a Webster certified chiropractor and if your hospital has midwives they can help too!

I was 38+ weeks when my baby turned head down so we cancelled the c-section. The last 2 days before they confirmed that he is engaged I was doing an exercise where basically the top half of your body is on the floor holding with hands and the bottom part is on bed/sofa somewhere kinda high. Base in mind I had unsuccessful ecv. Don’t loose hope. I was literally in the same position as I really didn’t want epidural and c-section

@✨Wis 🇭🇹 I’ve been trying spinning babies for the last few weeks. I am aiming for a vaginal delivery but I only get that if I go into labour naturally before my c section as I am not eligible for the ECV and they won’t induce me!

@Lauren I see. Try the Miles Circut to see. As far as triggering labor, evening primrose oil, curb walking, dancing, birth exercises (not just bouncing) can help. But if you do go into labor naturally, it’s important that you continue moving during labor (taking breaks every now and then). If you’re gonna flat or laying down the whole time it won’t help

@Lauren I hope you don't have the issue i did. My abdomen muscles were naturally too dense, and after almost four hours of pushing with every contraction ended up with an emergency cesarean

Where are you located?

@Sybel I’m in Leicestershire UK

@✨Wis 🇭🇹 what you said worked for me during mine. I stayed active and did some downward yoga poses as well it got my baby to turn around by himself. Doctor said because I stayed active my preg went very fast with my 1st 2nd and third baby.
