So I saw a YouTube video about potty training in three days and she referenced the book that @Grace mentions. I didn’t buy it however lol but the YouTube was very helpful https://youtu.be/RXxB4ym7jzo?si=gKSrilUT3xjz3YOu So I did three days without any bottoms. She just had a shirt and socks on 😅 as soon as she would pee or poop, I would tell her it doesn’t go on the floor. It goes in the potty and I’ll run her to the potty to finish. Well, it wasn’t fun to clean it off the ground. She eventually got the hang of it. The rewards is very important. I had a mason jar with puffs on the bathroom counter and she could see it and every time she use the bathroom in the potty. We made a big deal and gave her a treat. It took me six days to fully potty train her for the daytime.
When I tried with my oldest when he was this age he just peed himself and didn’t care. It was stressful. Tried again at 3 and had zero accidents and he got it in 3 days but had to leave him diaperless , no pull ups or anything.
Hi there my son is the same age as your little one and the thoughts of potty training were freaking me out and so I downloaded an audiobook called potty training in 3 days by brandi brucks and I feel like that helped me relax about approaching it and the preparation for it all. I don’t place my focus on successfully training him in 3 days cos I don’t know if it’s realistic but focusing on approaching specific way that feels comfortable for him and I. The book was helpful and goes step by step of best ways to approach it and timing is everything. Hope this helps :)
