Which is harder

Which do you guys think is harder; being a SAHM or being a working mom? I am so sad about having to go back to work because of leaving baby but I personally feel it’s just as hard to stay home as it is to go to work. I also have two dogs in a tiny townhome so I think that adds to it 🤣 no right or wrong answers, just curious!

I think both are definitely hard work but since being back to my full time job, 🙄, I find it a lot harder. This was my last baby(3rd) and there’s just not enough time in the day. Getting up at or around 4-430 to BF, getting everything ready and being out of the house at 7, getting off at 5 and getting the baby, then my 7yr old from daycare as well and then home to my husband and oldest by 6, make dinner, homework, baths…. It’s. Exhausting…. I’d rather be a Sahm again, tbh. I could get home stuff done and be at home with the youngest and then be able to actually spend time with the older two..

@HJ Renee man that’s a lot mama especially with 3 😢 I’m definitely not looking forward to going back FT either. Desperately hoping for some positives in it lol

I quit my job when I had my first, and although very difficult being a sahm , I can’t imagine my work job being anymore rewarding than being with my kids.

@Elizabeth that’s awesome, what a blessing! I wanted to stay home too but my husband was not down and I didn’t want to force him and put strain on our marriage. I really wish I could stay home and catch all these milestones 😢💔

I think it depends on your schedule and how many kids. This is my first baby and I send him to daycare 3x/week and stay home with him 2 days + the weekend. I find that manageable and a good mix for me to socialize and have work goals. I know it would be a lot harder on me personally to not have those extra days at home with my baby but I know they get very demanding as they age! So it definitely depends on your job too 🥰 I always thought I would maybe work part time once we have our second baby.

I totally understand , your partner needs to be on the same page for sure. It should be something you both agree on
