Why is it some people have perfect dating scans etc.. and others can be soo terrible! Is it because of movements from the baby? Got my dating scan on weds and hoping it's a clear scan ! Xx

It will be position of the baby. My baby was not playing ball and had its back to us most of the scan. We got one photo. Also, they are nhs scans so they are medical checks and not really for keepsakes. We got a lot better photos when we paid privately. Same as the gender scan, the nhs one was very to the point and a quick check after the anatomy scan, it isn’t the purpose of the scan to find out the gender. but we already had a private one where it was a lot more special and they took time to check etc. but that’s what you’re playing for.
