BLW - reheating food in the microwave?

Is it okay to reheat food like broccoli in the microwave for the baby? I know you're not supposed to heat milk in the microwave because it could cause hot pockets that can burn their little tongue. Is this the same for food? How do you guys meal prep for baby? I won't have time to make up food every day so want to meal prep if possible

I keep cooked vegetables in the fridge all the time so they're to hand for dinners. Things like broccoli can be kept in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days (always good to check time lengths on Google), and yes, you can reheat it - but only once and then it needs to be disposed of if uneaten - just let it cool down before giving to your little one.

@Sam thank you!

You're welcome 😊 You can also freeze a lot of cooked veg too, and then defrost them as and when 👍

If you are worried about microwaving just put in small pot and warm on fire for a bit. I’ll add abit of hot water to avoid burning invade you are doing other things

I do but make sure its stirred and cooled enough (but then I used to heat milk in the micro too just made sure to give it a really good swirl and never had any issues)
