I like Veda Mary, Veda May/Mae, but might suggest for flow: Veda Maren Veda Mariel/Marielle Veda Maris Veda Mara Veda Miriam Veda Moira Veda Maureen Veda Maura Veda Marilyn or even Veda Maria but if Marie is already used then There are a ton of international variants of Mary - you could choose one to honor your family heritage. My sister got the Irish spelling/version of my paternal grandma's name to honor my Irish maternal grandmother and I think that's cool!

Would you consider 2 middle names? Veda Mary Monroe Surname? I love the flow of Veda Monroe vs. Veda Mary, but I am a sucker for names that have meaning to you, and Mary is also sentimental to me. I'm named after my grandmothers, so I have 2 middle names and share a middle name, with 2 of my cousins, 1 on each side of the family, and my first name is a family name. My older sisters middle name is also our mums, and my brothers middle names are shared with our grandfathers and dad and my little sisters middle name is shared with our cousin and in honour of our great Grandma. My son shares the same middle names as my brother. His first middle name happens to also be in honour of my partners grandfather. I'm a sucker for a sentimental name.
