I would loose my s*** if my husband did that unless he had diarrhoea. My husband doesn’t do stuff like that anymore cos I once made a massive scene…god i gave birth to my second (home birth) my baby was literally crowning and the midwife was like where has he gone? He was in the toilet! I haven’t let him live it down. Anyways he is much better nowadays.
You’re right! They don’t understand. Because they have no way of understanding and they never will, unless you teach him. The best you can do is to sit down with your thoughts and explain to him what is going on. Any reasonable man will then at least be more aware and contribute the best he can with the knowledge he has. And as time goes on you will need to continue to communicate with him your perspective. I know it seems unfair and like they should just naturally understand, but for the most part it requires education from you!
Same here. My partner didn't think he would have so much responsibility, he said. And feels exhausted if he sleeps only 8h. Man, I haven't slept more than 3h in one go for over 2 months! I forget the water running, leave keys in the door, put vitamins in the fridge, spent bloody 5 min trying to figure out how to take my bra on the other day and on the verge of depression! And not possible to sleep during the day cus bubba only naps outside! Then he thinks he's doing me favours and helping me if he cares for his daughter! I had a massive proper rant at him when bubba was literally attached to my breast for like half a day, my nipples were killing me and was saying how exhausted I am all day and didn't even have a shower. I asked for a bottle of formula so I could get a breather, and made one, brought it for me, and said,'Here you go!' Had a proper go at him, and he got annoyed! 🤣 there is absolutely no point to be nice to them at this point. 👍
Oh my gosh I thought I was the only one. I went off when I said I’m tired and he said, yeah me too.. I’ve been told to hold the baby because of the loo. They are hungry. They think the baby is hungry when he just watched me feed her. I’ve resorted to becoming a record player cause I realised he won’t know unless I say
@Tencey yes to baby is crying because she's hungry when I literally just fed her.🤣 maybe he just doesn't trust my boobs to produce milk😅
I get the ‘mommy I think Iv done a poop too’ *hands me the baby*
Anyone else feel like men think they are babysitters or think they are doing us a favour ?? 😂😂😂😂 that’s the best one
I have the same issue 🤣 my partner phoned me the other day to come back from the shops because he had our 2y old and 2m old and needed the toilet 🤪
