Was that total hours of labour? All 3 parts added together?x

@Sophie that was active labour so from being 4cm to having her. My contractions started at 6pm the Tuesday and I was 4cm by 3.30am(ish) the following morning, 10cm by 7.30am(ish) then she was out by 9.46am xx

@Laetitia oh god, I don't know when I was classed as active labour tbf, contractions started maybe 3:30pm, had a couple hour nap, hospital for 9pm, checked and was at 10cm dilated about 10:15pm maybe then had her at 00:24am, the total duration of birth on the badgernotes app says 1h58m, I'm still clueless about it all 🤦‍♀️😂xx

@Sophie oh wow! That is a quick labour! I got no sleep between starting contractions and getting put on the delivery ward I was in so much pain and vomiting from it and then I had a water birth so I couldn’t sleep in the pool😂😂

Hours of labour is difficult. I had a very long latent phase (started 3 days before waters breaking) and no idea when active labour started. When my waters broke I went to hospital an hour later and I was already 7cm. 14hrs later was still 7cm. So.. at least 15hrs... Ended up having a section and didn't even get close to pushing. So was gas and air but then had to have a spinal for the section. She was born at 39+2. Excluding labour time I was in hospital 23 hours post-section.
