Does anyone else have a tilted uterus?

Just been for my 12 week scan and they were really struggling to find baby due to my tilted uterus. Ended up having an internal scan in the end and baby is doing really well. Does anyone else have a tilted uterus and how does this affect the pregnancy? She did mention that I might not show for a long time. Anyone have any info on this? 😊

Yes! I had a normal pregnancy. I didn’t show until around 24-28 weeks with my first baby and even then didn’t get a fully obvious bump until 30+ weeks. But with my second I showed really early on! 💕

Yes, I was the exact same they really struggled until my 20 week scan to see. My baby is 4 months now and it really doesn’t affect the pregnancy at all, I had the same questions at the time. They said it might effect my bump size but I was still bloody huge 😂 Best of luck and congratulations 🥰

Yes, no problems related to having a tilted uterus, showed early for a first pregnancy

Yep I have one and had a very obvious bump by 16 weeks with first. Didn't cause me any issues and don't believe they do, can just be harder to see on those earlier scans x

I do. I dont show until im about 22-24 weeks once I hit 30weeks you could tell im pregnant. I had 3 pregnancies. they all came late I had to get induce all 3x. their heart beat was easy to find so after 15wks.

Yep I do! They really struggled to find baby on my early 6 week scan but got there in the end.

Me too. Sonographer told me to imagine my uterus like it’s a partly filled balloon, and in women with a tilted uterus it’s just flopped backwards instead of forwards. Then as baby grows and the uterus expands it pops up like a balloon that’s being filled. No issues with pregnancy just harder to visualise during scans.

I do & my bladder actually sits at the top but in front of my uterus to its so hard for scans! Xx
