Breastfeeding mums - night sleep

How many times are you feeding through the night? The longest stretch we can get is 2hr 45 at the start of the night, then every 2 hours thereafter until about 5 when it’s every hour

That sounds about the same as us, roughly 2.5 hours at the start of the night then each sleep gets shorter until about 1 hour intervals in the mornings

My son sleeps from 7/7:30-7/7:30 and will wake 2 times on average but the last few nights it’s been 3 times x

Every 2 hours, sometimes even every hour 😭 but I feel like it’s mainly for comfort as she doesn’t use a pacifier

We’ve been working on dropping feeds. We’re down to one feed now, it has been a long process but worth it as I go back to work in April.

Just coming out of the regression so we are feeding 3 times a night (regression was like every 2 hours and before regression it was just once a night). So every 3ish hours. Sometimes more

@Elle this is great! any tips?

Not really - as many feeds as possible in the day time, then comforting to sleep at night instead of relying on boob. Then moving from picking up to comfort to hand on stomach in next to me, and then finally letting him settle himself.
