@Nova thank you 🙏🏻
My daughter is 15 months only now enjoys and plays peakaboo with me. At 7.5 months she didn’t care for anything lol. Rolling around was her favourite thing to do and passing around teethers 🤣 Don’t worry at all.
@Amal she loves turning and passing/ crabbing things around too 😂 I wasn’t concerned until yesterday that I read a milestone chart 🫣 When I try to play peekaboo she looks at me like bored and sort of attitude in the way “ I know you are hiding, stop it” 🤣
My daughter is 10 months and just started enjoying it a couple weeks ago! I discovered she prefers to play with a burp cloth of blanket over her face and pull it off herself. It would probably only be a problem if she wasn’t engaging with you or others at all.
@Danae Handley came here to say exactly this!!!! She just turned 10 months and just started enjoying it!!!! I found myself being worried that she didn’t like it around 7/8 months, too. She loves it now. Don’t worry, mama!!!
Babies all do and develop at their own pace! I was worried about that too but I always just focus on the overall and what the pediatrician says.
Thank you to all of you, she is very engaging with me and other people, she is meeting all the rest of the milestone this is the only one. I’m more relaxed now 😄
i started using a small blanket to play “peekaboo” with my babe around that time. she enjoyed it much more than the typical *cover and uncover* your face. throw the blankie over babes head and ask “where is -baby’s name-“ then gently help guide the blankie off u til they get the hang of it and !”peekaboo! there is -baby’s name-“ also helps baby learn their name and the added bonus of learning to pull a blanket off their head :)
My baby brother is 18 months and didn’t start enjoying or engaging at all until about 15 months. Some babies don’t like it at all, some babies don’t care until later. Don’t stress!
