Fruit serving

How are you guys serving fruit like apples and oranges? The solid foods app says apples are a big choking hazard and oranges have to be cut out of each membrane but I wanted to see if this is what others are doing? Also what about grapes? I’d like to give LO more fruit but worried of the choking risks

I generally follow the advice on solid foods app and give her fruit the way it suggests it. Lately, she started taking whole apples and nectarines and just eating them like that. Sometimes she spits out the apple peel but is able to eat them that way pretty well, though I still prefer to give her cooked apples just to be safe. I always quarter grapes.

I half Clementine/satsuma segments, sometimes third them if they're extra big, just so the membrane isn't whole. She's been eating them fine like this for a few months. For apples, I do thin slices, which I think is what the solid starts app says. For grapes, I chop into 6 lengths ways.
