Would you be attracted to your spouse if they didn’t do their share of housework/childcare?

As someone with the dickhead husband... its hard to be in the mood sexually cuz im so exhausted from doing everything else... I wanna but it's unattractive to watch him sit on his ass all day when I'm doing everything with our kid

My husband doesn’t do housework…I would never expect him too since he works 12hr days 5/6 days a week and I stay home. On his one day off he either cooking on the grill for cookouts or he will do the outside work. I know what’s it’s like to work long ass hours so I would never make him do that when I’m home all day and fully capable

@Nicole see, I wouldn't be mad if that was my case but I also work a full time job on top of all the housework and childcare

@Moira when I was working nights and he was on days, he would do laundry and stuff when he got home

@Nicole your husband is definitely not the dickheads I’m talking about. @Moira thats exactly how I would feel. It’s such a turn off! They need to realize that a ‘partner’ is what is attractive, not a lazy bum child.

My husband is a great dad and helps a lot around the house, but I think sexual attraction has nothing to do with how he behaves. I think I would smash him even if he was a dickhead 😅

@Moira same here. He works full time and I’m a Sahm but am I asking for too much? Just to tidy the room up sometimes or hoover up especially when he’s sitting on his fat ass on a day off.

@Iqra💜 I think if he watches the kid occasionally to let you focus on housework or helps occasionally while you focus on the kid that's fine... In my case my hubby doesn't do anything at home, doesn't care for the kid or anything... he's changed one diaper in 2025 and he groans every time ask him to do anything... as moms we need breaks too cuz our job is 24/7 whether sahm or working mom

@Nicole see if I ask him to help with dishes or cook on his days off he fights me on it

I would probably still find him physically attractive. But ya, I wouldn’t want to be giving it up to him if I’m constantly pissed at him 😂
