Bad teeth

I have always had bad teeth not because I never took care of them but because I have genetic problems. I’m very prone to cavities. Every time I went to the dentist I would have to get them filled. Both sides of my family have problems with their teeth. When I was younger I was never told by my dentist that I would have this problem im having now. When I got older I changed dentist practices and they took tons of X-rays and pictures along with tests and they told me I have gun disease. I found this out right after I had our son. Pregnancy really took a huge toll on my teeth. I also have iron deficiency problems I’m currently not taking anything for that. The last time I went to the dentist they said I have stage 2 periodontal disease. Did pregnancy really mess with yalls teeth? I’m so upset right now because I’m so afraid I’m going have to get my teeth removed because of this.

I'm suffering similar, always have had bad teeth from genetics and then cavities always come so fast, I brush each morning and night, I stopped flossing during pregnancy but when go back to hygienist will start again, soon as I can afford the hundred pound bill 😑I've also got iron issues always have had slight anemia low iron and take iron tablets. I have gum disease too. When I was pregnant my teeth went downhill more and now I had to have three teeth removed. I'm hoping to get implants or false teeth in future so I can smile fully again

My family has bad genetics when it comes to having good teeth. After my second pregnancy I became anemic having to get infusions every three months on top of a medication I have to take that is known to cause teeth decay. My medication I have taken since I was five so that played a big role in it plus I didn’t always brush my teeth. But my OB said the pregnancy can cause issues with iron and calcium deficiency which leads to health issues and tooth decay. I’m looking at implants or false teeth. I’m just a bit embarrassed about making the choice to get them tbh. I haven’t been to the dentist in 3-4 years cause I’m afraid to go bc of my teeth. I brush every day and drink plenty of milk along with infusions, it doesn’t help. Being 23 and false teeth is astonishing but I know it’s coming.

My mum had dentures at 21, so I'm just happy to be Atleast forty to get them
