Bottle refusal

Hi, My baby is 10 weeks old and we’ve been mixed feeding for weeks already where she has breastmilk during the day and bottles at night. I want to start transitioning to bottles fully, so I wanted to start by moving 1 feed from breastmilk to bottle. She’s refusing completely and she starts crying and screaming. Did anyone ever experience this? If yes, any tips please, I need to restart work and cannot continue breastfeeding for long.

I can’t help you but I need help with this too. I am EBF and sometimes my husband wants to feed the baby so they can spend time together also so I can have time for myself. I pumped and I tried different bottles… he just doesn’t want them, he would cry and choke but would not take it. The downside of this is that I am oversupplying and I don’t know what to do with the milk I have 😕

Have you tried a bottle with latex teat? My first was the same he refused all bottles and I kept buying new ones. This worked for us. I bought the bibs bottle on amazon https://amzn.eu/d/3A57p1L Fyi the bottle is glass

The thing is she already gets bottle fed at night by my mother in law, so it’s not a problem with the bottle… i just don’t understand why she does not accept the bottle during the day. She gets so fussy, it’s quite odd

@Sisi lansinoh bottles are supposed to be good in helping avoid nipple confusion. Maybe give these a shot?

Mine is doing the same at 10 weeks. She was fine on both as a newborn. She will now take a little begrudgingly from others but when on me just puts her head to my boob. I’d like to know what people did too x

Mine is the same at 11 weeks, he used to take 2-3 feeds of bottle well but suddenly started resisting for the past two weeks. I tried using different bottles, changing teats but nothing seems to be working 🥲. I really don't know what to do
