NICU at 39 weeks

My baby was born at 37 weeks and 4 days. Besides having low blood sugar the first few days, everything was normal and they discharged us home. After 6 days at home, we decided to put the owlet sock on him and noticed his blood ox was around 82. We ran to emergency room and now he has been in the NICU for 6 days now. They keep telling me his breathing isn’t normal because he’s not a premee and they keep doing a million tests and not finding anything. I have felt absolutely miserable and wondering if anyone has been in NICU with full term babies with rapid breathing problems?

Hey I’ve not had this and sorry to hear how unsettling this period is right now with what you’re going through with your little one. I wondering could it be rsv

my baby was premature, but he shared a room with a baby who was full term, had no other issues other than needing thr oxygen.. i’m unaware of the outcome or what they found with that as it was all confidential but i’m just hoping it helps you feel less alone to know there are definitely others who has had similar experiences, hang in there mama!!
