Help me please

This doesn't seem right? Why is the line so light? Am I supposed to look at the strips when I eject them from the device? Or is it like a digital pregnancy test would be where I'm not supposed to look at anything?

I say it positive

@Heidi it's just with other ovulation tests The line is usually way Boulder.

I thought when you're ovulating the smiley face wouldn't blink

if it’s ovulation test i’m sure the line has to be very bold

@emily right so I'm thinking the digital is wrong

@Kamryn🇲🇽 oh okay, I've never used it but I've seen posts about it The line one would be darker if ovulating

@Nevaeh that's what I thought so I'm guessing it's wrong 😑 I'll just have to use the strips it comes with

Yeah, the digital is definitely wrong, and that test reflects low fertility.

@Susan this is exactly why I didn't trust it lol I won't be putting the strips in the machine anymore

Blinking smiley means you're coming up to your peak. But not there yet. Solid (static) smiley means you have reached your peak and will be ovulating within 24-36 hrs later. I used the clearblue digital opk when i was doing IUIs and they always detected accurately for me

I think these don't show as dark because of the machine. The machine reads them so it doesn't have to be as blatantly obvious (I think 😂) I would definitely keep trying, I got pregnant on my first cycle using these after always using the strips before!! Definitely worth a shot 🤞

@Niki I looked it up and it said that it may pick up because sensitivity level of the test. So I'm guessing it picks up difference then another brand would

@Kamryn🇲🇽 i had the same test kit and paid the same price and I dont ovulate naturally on my own due to having PCOS. With the clearblue digital thats purple, it tests not only your LH but estrogen which is why its able to detect a longer fertile window. Just keeping testing, also I was told by my doctor that you can't go based off the lines because its different than the opk strips. Hope that helps. But i do hope the lines get darker for you

@Patrice what's a opk strip? And thank you I have some genetic testing coming up im looking forward to

@Kamryn🇲🇽 opk is ovulation predictor kit (ovulation) test strip. And good luck with your testing. I hope it works out for you.

@Patrice oh my bad I'm not great with Abbreviations and thank you 😊

@Kamryn🇲🇽 no worries! Im the same way lol

I did some research on these since I've seen other women saying they got a smiley face for 5 days. As expected, these tests are trash. Don't trust them. I myself hated the purple tester because it was never accurate for me either, and I'm a pro user. I also always use regular strips with it, so I get double confirmation. You can look up recent reviews on them, and you'll see that for the past year, they have been doing this. I have also stopped buying their pregnancy tests because they are no longer sensitive. Boots is a much better test or really any other test.

I would keep testing without the digital tester. Once in the morning and once in the evening. Your test line will get as dark as the control line when ovulating on those sticks. It does give you extra hours into your ovulation window compared to other tests. Your line is a bit darker today, so this is a good sign. Mine usually does that the day before my peak. What cycle day are you on, and how long are your typical cycles?

@Susan my cycle changes a lot because my endometriosis but I'm cd 13 or 14 today usually 19-34 days in between each period

Keep testing! I usually ovulate CD 17/18

Clear blue made me so annoyed. It gave me a solid smiley and the line was still lighter than the control line !!! I tested with another test at the same time and got my peak 5 days later!

The insides of digital ovulation tests are not meant to he read visually. Don't look at them. Just ignore them. It's not the same as the non-digital/strip kind.

@Taylor it's not the inside of a test you put them in a device so you can read them the same way

@Nicole I have some issues so I ovulate different every month and sometimes I don't ovulate so i have to test every day kinda thing sadly

Yeah, I know it's not always inside. But it is intended to be read by the digital reader thing. I have used something similar before (not the flashing ones but the regular smiley face ones) and the instructions and my fertility clinic were clear that you shouldn't try to read these visually. The thresholds for nearing positive and positive are different for the digital than what you'd expect for a normal LH strip test.

If you are testing every day I highly recommend using the cheap normal LH strip tests and following the instructions for those. The digital are more confusing in my opinion and definitely way more expensive.

@Taylor ahhh I see either way I definitely wasn't ovulating or at a peak when it told me I was unfortunately. I took "normal" ovulation test to just see and I wasn't butttt this whole digital test thing stopped working today I'm trying to get my money back atm 😭

@Taylor definitely agreed I love the normal tests as well
