Nuchal Translucency
Hey everyone! I had a detailed 13-week ultrasound today, and the baby was found to have increased nuchal translucency. Has anyone else experienced this? Did it resolve on its own, or did you need further testing? I’m trying to stay calm, especially since our blood test came back negative for any syndromes. We opted out to wait to do the 18 week anatomy scan. Any insights would be really appreciated—thank you!

By blood test do you mean nipt? I’ve heard nipt is more accurate. We decided to completely skip the nt scan and just do nipt.
@Anons correct! We opted out of the other testing since it was more invasive and we’ll see at our 18 week scan!
@Janie hi! He said because our blood test came back negative, our chances of having a syndrome is 3-4%. There’s two test that you can take but it was highly invasive. I’m gonna stay positive!
