My LO pulls his face at a lot of the savoury stuff but happily eats yogurts etc
My baby just doesn’t like food and won’t entertain anything at all 🙃
@Micha I only say this as someone I know has a baby 12 days older who will eat EVERYTHING! I know we shouldn’t compare but it’s so hard not to. He does LOVE throwing his food on the floor and I let him do what he wants (sometimes he tries it, others it’s for the floor and the Spaniel Hoover comes). It’s good to know that it’s normal and maybe he will explore foods when he’s a bit older. The majority of his ‘food’ is milk thankfully and no issues with his growth, he’s a big boy! Thank you so much, I feel a lot better about the whole situation 🥰
My little girls the exact same try not to worry too much my HV said it’s normal for babies and food is just for fun before 1 yrs! I’ve found my little girl eats a lot more if I let her lead with the spoon etc it’s very messy haha but she’s getting better each day at getting the spoon to her mouth!
My baby is 7 months he does eat everything I’ve given him so far weaning has been amazing… but I know I could easily be in your shoes tomorrow lol. They are all so different bless them some of us get lucky with some things & not others - but I refuse to label lol. My baby isn’t being “good” and yours isn’t being “fussy” they are both discovering food in their own way xx go easy on yourself it will happen you’ll find things & textures that work x
He is definitely NOT fussy 6-9 months isn’t even about eating they are fine on just milk. It’s about exploring the different tastes and textures of food no pressure to actually eat. Don’t make a big deal about him eating or playing with or ignoring food at this point just concentrate on offering regular and verity and repeat - it can take up to 10 tries for a baby to become used to a flavour or texture of food Dont resign yourself to puffs or nuggets this early on lol
