@Atlanta I have an early bird appointment Monday where they will do a urine sample and take my blood I can't get a scan yet until 7 weeks x
Your blood will tell you more and hopefully give you a bit of peace of mind x
I had my first scan Monday 6 weeks exact because of my lines going between faint and dark. Baby’s doing how it should ☺️
@Emily how did your tests look it's been 9 days since I tested positive xx
Mine progressed to being dark but then went really faint at 6 weeks and my symptoms reduced so I was worried. I had a scan this morning at 7 weeks though and everything looked fine x
@Rebecca I don't think I'm 6 weeks tho so I just don't understand why my tests were dark then light xx
I did another digital yesterday and it said 1-2 weeks
They’re a different brand though so they might be coming out a bit different as well. I know it’s really hard but try not to worry, I’d book in for an early scan when you can have one to give you peace of mind x
@Rebecca yes but from this test to this test it seem so much lighter 🥺
@Amie I’ll message you with photos etc xx
I know it’s so so hard but try to stop testing, a positive is a positive no matter how strong the line, tests are are not designed to measure progression (nor are they able to) 💕
But tests get darker more hcg you have and clearly mines decreasing ❤️🥺
@Amie so many factors can influence it, have you been able to book in with docs/EPU/Midwives at all? X
No not yet I have an early bird appointment Monday xx

Think it can get confusing when there different brands. I first tested possitive on 4th which was like 6 days before period was due x my kine tests arnt getting much darker but I got a 3+ today x
Hi lovely, I got my first positive on the 6th of Feb too! I’ve been having similar concerns, but stepping away from the tests because I don’t think it’s doing my anxiety any good. If it helps, from what I’ve been reading everyone is different and faint tests aren’t necessarily an indication anything is wrong. I also find the cheaper tests don’t get half as dark as clearblue etc. Just wanted to say you aren’t alone🩷
I ended up having a chemical 🥺
Sorry to see that it was a chemical pregnancy. X
@Leanne thank you x
Pregnancy tests aren’t quantitative. They can only tell if you are pregnant or not. The colour of the dye can depend on different things such as your urine dilution. Best way to actually track is getting bloods and booking and early scan x
