Milk

Hi all, I had my LO back in 2021, and the Grange supplied milk with the teats. Do they still do this? I'm just trying to make our hospital bags ready for the middle of March and was wondering if I need to pack any or some to be on the safe side.

I asked my midwife last week, she said they only supply SMA and Cow and Gate - so if you’re looking at feeding different then to take your own. I’m taking the Aptamil ready to feed with teats xx

I saw a post they put out last week saying that they do not have facilities for people to bring in their own boxes of milk for bottles to be made up. So if you're bottle feeding and want a specific brand of milk then you need to take pre made bottles in with you or they can supply pre made bottles but they won't guarantee a certain brand. So if you're not fussy then they'll supply them for you 😊 x

@Lauren awhh never. I must have been lucky back then as they had aptimil and my little one was fab on it. Wondering how many to take as I can't believe how expensive they are this time around.x

@Jenny awh thank you. Was that on the aneurin bevan website? Will have to follow them for updates x

I’ve bought 2 boxes, but will always grab more if needed. Obviously hoping to be in and out 🤣🤣 xx

It was on the Facebook page x

I had a baby last week there & only supply small & cow & gate xx

I had Mt son in 2023 and they had SMA & cow and gate

I was there last week. They have cow and gate and SMA bottles with teats.

I was there until Sunday evening they had cow & gate there I had aptamil with me but my little boy wouldn’t take to those teats so they provided us with theirs while we used our ready made bottles 😊

Thanks everyone. I've got 2 boxes so far. Might get another one just incase but like Lauren.. hopefully be in and out 🤞. Can always use them at home too for the first couple of days x
