@LouiseThank you. I think I’m having to have another c section anyway as I am high risk due to previous pregnancy. I just wanted to know if it was dangerous as heard it was 😬. Thank you… xxxx
I just looked back on my 12w scan from my first pregnancy and said it was low posterior then moved to high at 20w scan so fingers crossed that is the same this time 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
It should be, as I’m sure I’ve read somewhere that once it’s moved up it can’t go back down as it stretches with your uterus. Keeping everything crossed it’s moved for you. Yeah I’d heard the same and also panicked 🙈 didn’t realise how potentially dangerous it could be xxx
All depends on how low your placenta is. It needs to be 2cm away from your cervix to be able to have a natural birth - did they say how low it was? If not, then I’d defo recommend asking at your scan. Mine was completely covering my cervix a couple of weeks ago, but at my last scan has started to move, although mine is anterior which I think are more likely to move than posterior. Try not to worry until you find out more (easier said than done I know - mine caused me soooo much anxiety - especially combined with multiple other high risk factors I have). If it hasn’t moved / is too low they’ll give extra scans, then if needed likely book a section for around 36/37 weeks. Sending positive thoughts for Wednesday xxx
