We went to Turkey last year in April just as our LO turned 9 months. We didn't take anything, and he just ate fresh fruit & vegetables and tried various other bits and pieces that we ate, but there were also fridges there full of baby pouches. We did BLW so he just explored various foods over there that weren't salted etc. So I'd probably say if you're worried, then pack some of your own pouches and then just stick to what you usually do at home :) most hotels will have very kids friendly options like bread, pasta, plain sauces, unseasoned chips, veggies, fruit, yogurts. Food before 1 is just for fun, though, so i wouldn't over stress!
We’d take pouches and also some dried baby food so save on space and weight… Heinz do tubs so that’s a good few meals! Also took a nuby net so fruit could go in there and suck it through… you’ll able to get weetabix, fruit, yoghurts etc at the hotel
6-12mths we took back up pouches and porridge sachets and a box of wheetabix so we were never stuck. But we stayed at an incredible hotel and the buffet breakfast and dinner was ideal for weening and trying new things :)
When my little one was weaning we took pouches and packaged snacks then got her fruits and vegetable bread etc that was suitable but was good to know we had our own option when not much was available. We took the whole food packets that had no nasty additives
