How to stop the hitting 😭

Redirection! Instead I take her hand and do strokes and say 'gentle' or just 'awww' - this seems to work for us anyway (not all the time but a fair bit!) She now will go up to her dolls and the pets and say awww while she strokes them 🤣 No reaction doesn't work for us and when we say no she laughs and thinks its a joke 🤦🏼‍♀️ Mine is 19 months too 👍🏼

I remind her gentle hands....and as we do sign language I will sign and say that I was sad. Redirect the situation.
