@Boo we may need to try this. It would be worth being covered in poop. I feel so bad!
A bath was always the advice we received. Something about the warm water helping them relax. We also have a vibrating chair that we ending up calling his poop chair. I don’t know if it was the angle or the vibrations, but he went almost every time he sat in it. 🤷♀️
@Katharine ooo do you have the link or a link to something similar to the chair? I really wanna do all I can for him. I feel terrible.
Try the Frida Windy!
Soak cotton wool balls in warm water and rub it on babies bumhole it's works 👌
@Kee we have! It's only worked once :(
@Becky we will try this ty!
You're welcome . My midwife told me this tick, and it works 💪
Is he breastfed or formula? Breastfed babies can go quite a long time without pooping.
@Sam breastfed however he seems to be in pain and straining to get it out

@Katharine thank you!
Knees to chest (like you’re wiping his bum position) 10x as many times a day as you can. Babies can’t push like we do, sometimes they need assistance! Same goes for farting this really helps. Also put your hands under his bum, spread your fingers wide and rotate each hip, creating movement like a figure 8 shape to help him move his milk through his body. Do the figure 8s after each feed :)
My first baby had this problem, we tried everything we could but what finally worked was a bath. We did a big bath, and I sat in the tub with him, floating him around, swaying him in the water. It worked, but he did poop all over both of us, lol.
