Did you watch Teletubbies ? & where are you from ?

I just put teletubbies on for my 2yr old and now that I’m watching it again, the show is kinda weird 😂😂 I’m from the US, I used to watch it when I was a toddler but I don’t remember it being weird lol

Yea I watched it as a kid (US) I tried to put it on for my toddler a while ago and I was so uncomfortable I had to turn it off 😭 it’s weird dude

I was a little older when teletubbies came out but I can remember my little cousins watching it. It was always weird 😂

@🩷 Patience 🩷 same 😂😂

@Rachel it’s so funny how as a toddler you don’t think something is weird but once you get older you’re like “actually this is weird 🤔 “

Whoever made it had to of been on something 😂

Ment to put yes from uk but I remember when it came out I was working as an apprentice at a nursery then all of my children have watched it ages now are 20,17and 8 omg I feel old lol 😆

The teletubbies were named after Birmingham terms for genitalia - so yes - always weird. The new teletubbies are even weirder. What’s with the weird crèche situation in their house. Are teletubbies supposed to be adults?

Yes, Canada

Yes I was in 4th grade when it came out and it was a big deal. My friends and I had all the dolls. I think its weird but harmless and my son liked it too when he was little

Yes (from Canada)

I clicked wrong I’m from the US. My husband and I rewatched an episode and were laughing out loud at how bizarre it was.

Try In The Night Garden, so cut

@Steph omg are you serious ! That’s very disturbing 😳

@Steph where on earth did you hear that?!

The telebubbies are really good for promoting language, as it mimics the acquisition of babies own language skills

My mom wouldn't let us. She said it was too creepy (from US)

I had no idea the Teletubbies was shown in countries other than the UK! I agree, kind of weird looking back.

My son is obsessed and I think it's weird. My son is almost in a tance but only on the part when the kids are showing their skill or place or activity. Also I think the vacuums name (nunu) sounds like a pet name for the female vagina...

@Lisa pretty sure it’s on Netflix here

@🩷 Patience 🩷 we watch it on live TV on our Roku TV.

If you think that’s weird, check out In the Night Garden 😵‍💫

@Emma from the bloke that plays Dipsy. I live in Birmingham. It was filmed relatively locally in Stratford-upon-Avon. Dipsy was a Jamaican Brummy (John Simmit) who still lives in Birmingham.

@Steph oh my lord 🤣

The teletubbies were scary looking to me 😭

Yes from Canada, and i agree not the same thing watching when you're old 😂

@Lisa it's been shown all over the world. We had it in Finland.

Yes from Canada. The show on netflix is not what I remember.

So there's an entire section of a scrapbook dedicated to me with teletubbies themed things. A cake, sunglasses, clothes, stuffed animals. It always makes me laugh to see because apparently I was absolutely obsessed with it. I haven't even attempted to watch it since having my daughter 😅 we watch a lot of other shows I did as a kid, but that one I just can't handle. Idk why I liked it so much lol
