Do you wish you’d chosen a different pram?

If so, what do you have and what do you wish you’d got and why? Been pram shopping today and even more confused than before I went 🤣 was originally loving the Ocarro, but after seeing it the basket and harness clip both look like they would stress me out. Like the Uppababy Vista 3’s features but no carry handle very annoying! The Icandy peach bassinet seems very low down so lots of bending for baby… help 🙈

Yes have an ickle bubba travel system but wish I'd gotten a lightweight travel stroller type ad I'd have made more use of that. As we've not gone out much during the initial newborn stages and if we did it was in the car so didn't actually use the bassinet that came with our pram till now and she's 9m old already.

Me. We have a bugaboo fox. Cost so much money and barley used it. I wish we had just got a much cheaper one. It our ‘biggest’ waste of money baby item!

I loved my first pram but I wish I’d got one that converted to a double just in case. We’ve had twins second time round so had to get a whole new travel system

@Samina see I do think we will use it quite a lot walking etc so don’t think this will be much of an issue. Also hoping to use the bassinet for day naps too!

@Naomi oh really! Do you feel you’d still wish you’d got a cheaper one if you’d used it a lot? I am thinking of a second hand one tbh anyway just trying to decide what features people hated and wish they’d had 🤣

Yup if you'll use it for walks etc then it's great id recommend it as its lightweight too

I wish we’d got a second hand one. We mainly just used the carrier and then from about 18months he just walked everywhere. In fact when he was about 2.5 we were having a clear out and put in the loft and he asked ‘who is that when he saw it?’in my opinion you don’t need to spend a ton of money on one. A decent second hand one is a good shout in my opinion!

We have the Ocarro but it is soooo heavy. We used a carrier in the early days and then got a Joolz Aer+ around 6 months old for a holiday and never went back. In hindsight we wouldn’t have spent so much money and would have gone for something more compact and practical for day to day use. Unless you enjoy lots of long country walks or don’t drive travel systems just aren’t worth the money in our experience we barely used ours 😅

We had an ocarro with my first. She hated the pram so it was barely used. We'd got it secondhand thankfully. I sold it and bought an out n about nipper second hand for number 2 as it suits my lifestyle more and I love it. We have a Phil and Ted's cocoon we use with it which makes it super easy to swap between baby and toddler using it if required

Honestly I’m pretty happy with my kinderkraft moov 2 travel system. It’s super affordable and does what it needs to do I use it a lot and it manoeuvres really well, has good storage plus the design is sleek I think the only change I’d make is getting it in beige

Yes, we spent so much money on the silver cross reef. It looks so pretty but is ridiculously bulky and heavy to push! I cannot tip it up a kerb without using my foot on the break bar to help. I also have the cybex balios for holidays which was much cheaper and both me and my partner love pushing it, can even be done one handed if needed! I would just suggest trying all of the prams you like before you buy x

We had the Ocarro for our first and will not be using it again. It was just so heavy to lug around and put in the car etc. Luckily we went second hand so don’t feel like money was wasted as we got our wear of it for what we paid. Travel systems tend to be bulky and heavy, and just weren’t worth the money for us as we drive a lot so I would’ve gone smaller/cheaper (if buying new) and lighter!

I have the joie honour bundle and it is amazing!!! Good price and sooo smooth, I convinced my friend to get it too and she loves it. Really good for muddy walks and easy to put down / up
