Potty training

We've only just cracked it after failing once before! It's taken him a week. It was worrying me a lot but so many people kept telling me over and over how every child is different and he'll pick it up quick when he's ready , they like to keep us guessing don't they😅 I think most people don't really start to be concerned these days unless they're maybe nearing 4 and still really struggling a lot? I have heard too that boys can take longer though💙 sending love x

we tried once and realised he wasn’t ready, then we knew he was ready because he could articulate when he needed to go and could take his pants down himself etc etc, anyways, we’re in the throws of it, probably 4/5 weeks in, wees are fine, every poo in his pants 🤣 just decide to do it and keep up with it! They’ll get it eventually

We tried once and it was a disaster! We're going away for a week in a couple of weeks so going to try when we get back :P

Still not potty trained here. He’s just not ready. It won’t be forever. Might try at Easter. X

We have tried x2. My son is not yet potty trained. I believe that playing has often been too much fun and distracting. We are planning to take some time off and give it a go again this spring. Those of you that have potty trained - did you continue using nappies during naps/night time?

@Laura lol we are the same no bother with pee but he just can’t poo in the toilet yet he tries but guess he is not ready yet so I’m just waiting for him to get it ❤️❤️❤️
