I deff think it helps. My 7 month has been using it since a month ago and it’s nice to have so she can move around or follow me while I’m cooking or have my hands full for a little bit

Big fat no. https://youtu.be/nG-8gvHamlQ?si=aP_9BLCUoA8QD9TH

An activity center is nice with feet support where their feet are flat on the surface

I like activity centers and stand-and-push toys. They've all helped my daughter. Now she stands and pushes her stand-and-push toy.

No, it's not needed

So I've had alot of doctors and OTs, and PTs tell me to never use the baby walkers cause they can mess up foot placement when learning to walk and hip alignment. I've had friend's kids have issues walking on toes because of them. I would suggest not getting a sit- in walker, get an activity center instead, not a bouncer type

@Zujeyro I am alone at home and my baby always wants to be with me so I think it helps

@Tess why :)

@Leilani I’ve heard this before, but it’s not something that happens with every baby. My nephew had one, but he walks perfectly fine and never had any issues. However, I’m really confused.

Did you watch the video? She explains why

@Katherine Yes I watched thank you 😊

it helps to keep them entertain all my kids were in walker the eldest now is 17 lol

Push walkers, yes. Sit in walkers? No. It can be detrimental to their bone structure so that's enough for me. However, it's also really not helping their development at all. When I was studying early childhood development we talked a lot about "containerized kids." And how often we put our young babies and children into containers instead of letting them move their bodies freely. Also they're a fall risk. They can tip and if you have stairs that's a major major risk

Why aren't they needed? They're just not necessary. Babies will learn to walk just fine without walkers. Some kinds are probably actively bad for them, like others have noted. Those ones won't necessarily cause problems for every kid, but I still wouldn't use them at all because you can't know ahead of time whether your kid might be vulnerable. Ones that are safe for hip development, etc, you can certainly use if you want, but your baby doesn't *need* them for anything.

Its so much required .. i mean baby is free to roam around.good physical activity

I have it and use it to sit my daughter in when I’m cleaning or doing stuff and I got the walker and the other one that look like it with the bottom piece. I have to watch her when she in the walker due to her actually knowing how to move in it and she’s in the “I gotta touch everything” phase

I haven't used one because of the fear around them but I do remind myself... We all used them and we are perfectly fine!
